Many gardeners shy away from roses, believing they are fussy or not hardy enough for our climate. At Gemmell’s, we focus on carrying hardy, reliable rose varieties that perform well in our area, along with a small selection of hybrid teas for the more adventurous gardener.

Our roses arrive bare root from a trusted Ontario supplier, where they are carefully pruned before being hand planted into our custom growing mix. From there, they are grown right here at the garden centre, allowing us to ensure strong, healthy plants and excellent quality before they reach your garden.
